World Diabetes Month 2014

This blue circle to the right is the universal symbol for diabetes. Until 2006, there was no global symbol for diabetes. The purpose of the symbol is to give diabetes a common identity. It aims to:
  1. Support all existing efforts to raise awareness about diabetes
  2. Inspire new activities, bring diabetes to the attention of the general public
  3. Brand diabetes
  4. Provide a means to show support for the fight against diabetes

Come visit the Don Mills Diabetes Education Program to learn how you can better manage your diabetes and South Asian Diabetes Prevention Program to learn how to prevent diabetes for you and your loved ones! It's as easy as giving us a call! (416) 429-4991.

Community Health & Wellbeing

Between October 5th and October 11th, 111 community-governed primary healthcare organizations across Ontario will take part in a cross-Canada celebration of Community Health and Wellbeing Week using the theme Shift the Conversation: Community Health & Wellbeing.
Join us! During October’s Community Health and Wellbeing Week, Flemingdon Health Centre along with 113 other community-governed member centres will demonstrate how their programs are promoting health and wellbeing, advancing health equity and providing health services and better value for healthcare dollars.
